It’s extremely important to know how to make an affiliate website yourself as an affiliate marketer. There is only so much outsourcing you can do before it becomes overwhelming and frustrating to deal with. The better approach is to learn a simple way to make a website that you can use for affiliate commissions. Follow these 3 steps and you’ll be on your way to making your own websites using a free software called Wordpress.
Step 1) Open up your hosting account to the control panel and scroll down to Simple Scripts or Fantastico Deluxe (depending on your hosting account). Click on it and then click on Install Wordpress.
Step 2) After installing WordPress onto your domain, you are ready to customize the look of your website. You can choose between hundreds and hundreds of free themes to customize the look and functionality of the site. Choose various plugins to add to the site that also help in the functionality. These can be anything from Search Engine Optimization plugins for your site, to star-rating systems for rating products or services.
Step 3) Give good information on your affiliate product and provide the affiliate links to the product site. This is extremely important, obviously. You’ll want to be in the HTML view in the post editor in order to provide the links and anchor text to your affiliate products.
Try using an image plugin- You can use a simple image plugin to add images to the side-bar of the blog. Then you can add your affiliate links, embedded in the image. That way people can click on the image and will be taken to the product pitch page.
