Anyone else like buying foreign version DVDs?
Even if the film is British or American, if it is only a little bit more expensive, I general opt to by the Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean version, etc, online than to by the local edition.
There seems a certain novelty about displaying DVDs with odd scripts in your DVD rack.
Does anyone else do this?
Well, not necessarily because of the foreign script, but if I like the story line I’ll buy it. I won’t buy an American film overseas, mostly because I just don’t see the point. Even if it’s just a little bit more, I don’t know, I’d rather buy genuine stories from other countries. Ones that were made in that country rather than the ones made in this one. I don’t know, I’m just rambling now. So I guess to each their own, right?
