Yahoo email is hijacked?
If I try and access my yahoo email, I am redirected to the following site http://pbid.pro-market.net/engine?site=119121+page=+space=9717+size=180×150+linktarget=%27_blank%27+rnd=1244820696
Accordingly, I cannot get near my email.
Yahoo also make it impossible to find out how the heck you can contact them.
I don’t believe that this is a trojan. I have since discovered the following: 1. The problem only happens in Firefox and 2. The page I’m pushed on to is the ad at the bottom left of the yahoo email page. This makes it look like a Firefox problem, or a problem with Java or Shockwave in Firefox.
The problem doesn’t exist with Yahoo, it is a Trojan hijacker on your computer that is causing your problem. Some of these Trojans are pretty nasty and are hard to get rid of. One of the better free programs to handle this task is called SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition. It will detect and remove Spyware, Adware and Remove Malware, Trojans, Dialers, Worms, KeyLoggers, HiJackers, Parasites, Rootkits, Rogue Security Products and many other types of threats. It also has a tools section which is important. After the removal of the malware, often you can’t connect to the internet as the malware had changed your Internet settings. They sometimes alter other settings to prevent their removal.
For example, you have scanned your computer and removed all the threats (sometimes the program has to restart your computer if the files were in use) and now you discover you can’t connect to the Internet. Start up the program, click on Preference button from the Main Page and then the Tools tab. Scroll down to Repair broken Network Connection (Winsock LSP Chain), highlight it and click on Perform Repair button. If you find anything else amiss, you might also find the repair in the same section.

A good way to prevent getting malware on your computer is to use a browser addon called WOT (Web of Trust). It rates most links in emails and search engines. It will temporarily block access to a known bad site and warn you before the page loads. You can then either assume the risk and go to the site or to exit without going to the site. It will keep you safe from online scams, identity theft, spyware, spam, viruses and unreliable shopping sites. WOT warns you before you interact with a risky website.
